In 23 years of doing business, I have not seen this kind of drastic change in such short time. Some of you may have already known that a new “budget” in Springfield passed on Saturday. This bill has significantly raised tobacco and vape taxes. As if the tariffs in February and March didn’t fuck us enough with the shortage of vapes and rising costs of cigars. Now, the dick-less lawmakers down in Springfield are fucking us as well.

The tariffs and taxes are hurting ALL OF US. And now, I have no choice but to raise costs in this store.

So here is the breakdown: All cigars and rolling tobacco will go up 9%. I am still waiting to know if packed cigarettes are included in this increase. Vape products are slated to increase 30%. In the past with rising costs, we have been able to maintain our prices on some products. But this is too much to overcome.

That being said, here is what we are willing to do to help. We will price protect at least the first couple weeks on all vape and cigar products. Yes, we will eat this increase to help all of you buying them for that period of time. We will also continue to make sure we are cheaper than anywhere else in town. This is what has kept us going all these years.

We appreciate everyone who comes into our store and is understanding of this situation. We will continue to do everything we can to make sure you save money coming here versus going somewhere else in DeKalb County.
